The forest, its animal vegetable life is re-birthing. The Eiswasser (ice water) is an Upper Rhine Valley Council pilot project to bring an old branch of the Rhine back to life: In the forest, observation points and a written guide show the extent of the work accomplished in an area re-immersed in nature.

This waymarked walk is 1.2 km long, takes approx. 45 minutes and is not difficult. There is a car park close to the start of the walk which is opposite the fish pond.
