Come and walk with “Hardtala“the imp on four nature and cultural trails created by the project LIFE..

The ‘Natura 2000’ nature trail traces the Natura 2000 showing examples in the Hardt. Length: 2 km – Start: opposite the pony park in the forest ‘Forêt dominiale de la Hardt’ near Blodelsheim.

The interpretation trail at Oberhergheim will help you understand the natural and historical origins of the Hardt. Length: 6.5 km from village to village, leaving from the church in Rustenhart or from Oberhergheim or 5 km walking there and back, leaving from the car park on the R8 leaving Oberhergheim going towards Hirtzfelden.

The botanical trail of the Hardtwald (Hardt forest) shows you the diversity of typical trees and shrubs. Length:.600 m. The walk starts at Rue du château d’eau which is almost opposite the church in Heiteren and finishes at the car park on the edge of the forest.

The discovery trail of Dessenheim shows all the riches of the Hardt and all that has been achieved by the LIFE project. Length: 3,5 km. The walk starts at the village hall in Dessenheim, at end of the village when heading for Hettenschlag (RD13).
